G'day, I'm Clinton (aka CJ). I'm a junior designer and AWARD School graduate with a passion for branding, visual identity, file naming and solving a good problem.

 

My path into design has been a little unconventional. Before making the transition into the creative industry, I spent more than a decade working across woodworking, construction and project based environments, developing a practical mindset, strong attention to detail and an appreciation for craftsmanship.

Today, my focus is creating clear and thoughtful brand and visual identities that help businesses show up with confidence and consistency, both online and in the real world. I enjoy building systems through brand audits, strategy, logo design, visual assets, guidelines, templates, mock-ups and practical applications that bring ideas to life across digital and physical touchpoints.

Over the past few years I've continued developing my skills through freelance projects, community collaborations, volunteer organisations, industry experience and AWARD School, where I worked alongside creatives from Special and Dentsu agencies on campaign based briefs. I've also been fortunate to collaborate with organisations such as the ADHD Foundation and Brandkind Community while continuing to make an impact through CJ Ink Designs.

I'm currently looking to grow within a creative team where I can continue learning, contribute to meaningful work and build alongside people who care deeply about craft, ideas and creativity as much as I do. I love branding, graphic design, motion design, emerging technology and seeing good businesses communicate their value more clearly.
